HOW SPRAY TANNING WORKS
Spray Tanning is a NON UVB and healthy way to get a tan without the harmful effects of the sun!
. Spray Tanning gets a client Tan in 10 minutes or less on the very first Appointment. A harmful Tanning Bed can take up to 8 sessions to achieve the same look as a Spray Tan.
. DHA ( Dihydroxyacetone) is the main ingredient which turns your skin a Tan color. It is SAFE and FDA Approved ingredient. It is NOT a Dye or Spray Paint. DHA is derived from the Sugar Cane Plant and it works with your body naturally. The tanning process is simply a reaction of DHA combining with the Amino Acids in the upper most layer of your skin. Resulting in a tan like appearence.
Please Note: The DHA developing time to completely react and fully absorb into the skin is approx 6 to 8 hours. This is why it is highly suggested not to shower hours or until the next day after your session.
*The Skin Coloring effects of DHA has not been proven to be harmful in any way and DHA based sunless tanners have been recommended by the American Cancer Society,The American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Dermatology.
